Individual Clinical Supervision is designed to meet the requirements of the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage and Family Therapist Board while providing a supportive, structured environment for professional growth.
Supervision is conducted in accordance with Ohio Administrative Code standards and focuses on developing clinical competence, ethical practice, and sound professional judgment. At the same time, it is meant to be a space where you can think openly, ask questions, and grow with clarity and confidence.
In our one to one sessions, we will focus on:
• Thoughtful review of clinical cases and treatment planning
• Strengthening diagnostic reasoning and assessment skills
• Ethical decision making grounded in Ohio law and professional standards
• Risk assessment and client safety
• Documentation practices that meet regulatory expectations
• Professional boundaries and scope of practice
• Multicultural responsiveness and client welfare
• Ongoing evaluation of clinical development
Supervision includes direct case consultation, application of theory to practice, discussion of interventions, and constructive feedback. When appropriate, this may include review of documentation or clinical materials to support competency development.
All supervision hours are documented in accordance with Ohio Board requirements, including required supervision ratios and formal evaluations necessary for licensure application.
Above all, supervision is intended to protect client welfare while helping you grow into a confident, ethical, and reflective clinician. This is a structured process, but it is also a relational one. You are not navigating this stage of professional development alone.
If you are seeking supervision that is compliant, intentional, and growth oriented, I welcome the opportunity to support you in your licensure journey.
